Mohamed Khalifa is an independent filmmaker from Egypt. He started working on movies in 2009 but it was in 2011 that he really stood out when he made the first horror movie in Egyptian history "Haunted Hearts" which got very good feedback.

After that he made five movies all of them striving to make a difference in Egyptian cinema as he tackled strange and unusual topics in his movies from horror to drama to science fiction always trying to bring something new to the table.
