Hungarian born photographer, Peter Richweisz, graduated in philosophy at the ELTE University in Budapest.
Shortly after, he moved to London to start his fashion photography career in 1997. With a strong background in contemporary art he developed a unique method of creativity in the commercial fields of fashion and advertising.
Peter's interests in project based conceptualization of individual tasks is preferred over forcing or being locked into a particular personal style or imagery. This innovative approach generates a fresh replenishing attitude to his concepts.
Peter's continuously uses artistic strategies adopted, translated and deployed for the commercial domain.
After 7 years in London, Peter moved to Dubai in 2004. In 2005 he set up Desert Fish Photography Studio, a boutique production studio, specializing in full turnkey approach to visual branding. In 2006 he founded Desert Fish magazine the first cutting edge, vanguard visual concepts based publication in the Middle East.
This bi-annual periodical is running up-to-date with great success and distributed in 45 countries. The idea behind the magazine and the outcome are supported by Peter's flexible style approach and recreational freedom of adaptations. This is where beyond individual projects the magazine as a whole interacting conversation is passing for the final creation.
Peters strengths are shown in developing full-fledged concept from initial briefing but he also feels conformable to work along and bring the most out of fixed ideas.

Exhibitions solo and group exhibitions in Budapest, London, Dubai from 2008 onwards.
Peter has always shown a great passion towards story telling and moving images. Having directed several music videos and TV commercials for clients like Universal Music, Dubai TV, Amnesty International, Grand Cinemas, Cu$tom Made featuring two time grammy award winner Krazie Bone.
Recently Peter's Fashion Film "Alchemy" was screened as official selection at the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, San Diego.
