WHY ACADEMY AWARDS ARE HELD?
Academy Awards are the ceremony which is presented by Academy of Motion Picture Science & Arts (AMPAS) to honor/recognized composers, animator designers, sound mixers and make up makers and the best directors, writers, producers and everyone attached to this industry for discovering new ways for presenting their work and when they publish their work they receive appreciation for their work and efforts they made. In this regard, many Directors, Producers and Writers have already got fame and popularity for their unique work. I would like to mention some names like James Cameron & J.K. Rowling who are very famous all over the world in creating some extraordinary films.
Academy Awards which are commonly known as OSCARS are held annually to award the best work done by some actors, actresses, directors, writers and etc. The 87th Academy Awards (Oscar-2015) were held by Academy of Motion Picture Science & Arts (AMPAS) on 22-Feb-2015 to honor the best films of 2014. This beautiful ceremony was held at Dolby Theater Hollywood, California.

Dolby Theatre:
It is very large auditorium and entertainment complex. This theater is also known as "KODAK Theatre". It was built specially for organizing such great Academy Awards and since its inception 2002, it has been organizing these awards constantly. Because, it was planned to host such events so it is a permanent home for these academy awards. As, this hall has vast area and a great architecture so it has been used to televised a famous show "American Idol" also. The sole purpose of this building was to arrange such events and ceremonies so the construction team discussed with many directors and consultants to achieve a design which can meet every need in coming times. Since that time this auditorium has been used many many times for events and particularly for hosting Academy Awards.
The space for setting up camera, sound, orchestra and many others necessary things has been made in a way that it can handle everything in a nice and easy way. The seating plan is upto mark. In short the theatre is admirable in every regard.
For achieving best results everything is managed in a nice way regarding awards so the ceremony was directed by Hamish Hamilton to get maximum results which is a well known British Director and very famous for organizing a great event like Super Bowl and also known for MTV Music Video Awards.

Host of the Awards:
Neil Patrick Harris was chosen for the first time to host the Academy Awards due to his ability and dedication towards his work and he proved his potential in this ceremony. He is very famous actor, singer, producer, comedian and also a magician too. His famous movies are Star-ship Troopers and Smurf 1, Smurf 2 and Gone Girl. He has been working with Tony Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. He has been hosting television shows for a long time in his career. He is known for his character in a serial How I Met With Your Mother and for this role he was nominated four times in EMMY Awards. He hosted a program "Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris"
Neil Meron producer of the academy awards chose Neil Patrick Harris due to his aptitude and dedication towards his work. He said that " Patrick has great capability and we have seen this in him from last couple of years and we are pleased to chose him for hosting such great event." When Neil found that he has been chosen for such great job he expressed his feeling that it was his dream to host it because to host academy awards is a dream of every host and I am watching these awards since my childhood and I never thought that I could host such great event.

OPENING CEREMONY OF AWARDS:
The opening ceremony of such great event was very important part and to make this happen correctly all preparations were made in a way that all the viewers and the presented guests could admire it after seeing it. So, opening was made in a fantastic way and Neil Patrick Harris the host of this event appeared in front of the audience and viewers from the bottom of the stage and started performing in his own unique style. A song was made for the presentation and Neil Patrick performed very well on it to take applause and appreciation from the guests. All the guests admired and clapped to see the new presenter who is working very fine in making this event a memorable and remarkable event. So, Things carried on in a nice fashion and everyone in hall enjoyed every bit of this world wide show.

DISTRIBUTION OF AWARDS:
Just after finishing the opening performance the time came for distributing awards among the winners. The winners for these awards was chosen from the Nominees that were made before this ceremony and now the awards will be awarded to those who got much interest and thus winners were chosen. There were 24 categories in this awards ceremony in between them the awards are to be given and to give these awards many famous personalities were called on stage to call the nominee and to announce the name of winner. Hence, the ceremony started and many awards were given. As I already mentioned above that there were 24 categories in which awards were given so here I will discuss some of them in details. BIG HERO 6 is a 3D-Animated and first ever Superhero which was produced by Waltz Disney Animate Studio and was release by Walts Disney Pictures, overall this studio has created 54 movies till now. The great animated picture was directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams.This film has characters of Marvel series and is comedy film in which a battle is fought against a villain. The film in itself is first of any who won OSCAR and thus gain very much praised all over the world. As being a cartoon animated movie this movie earned fame among the KIDs and was declared on the best movie between children.
The theme of movie is about a robotics paradigy who created a team to combat against a villain. The Premiere of this movie was held at Tokyo International Film Festival as well as in Abu Dhabi from which this movie gained international interest. After that this got many critical and in favor views. Both were accepted because movie did a total business of Gross $657 and became the highest grossing movie of the year of 2014. Being a successful movie this got many awards such as BAFTA, ANNIE AWARD and Golden Globe Award.

The ceremony was full of interest as the host kept the audience in touch by his performance and at stage I was very surprised to see Neil Patrick when he came on stage with wearing only underwear and amazed everyone. This showed his confidence to presentation as he came on stage in such condition he said,

Interstellar cast
Team of Interstellar at 87th Awards
Interstellar is movie which is based on science fiction theme and was directed by Christopher Nolan. In this movie a crew of astronauts travels through a wormhole to find a new living way for humanity. The movie was best in visual effects that were presented very nicely in the movie and by this great visual effects the movie was able to get international interest and grossed over a business of $675. Movie was nominated in many awards held at different locations and hence becoming a strong contender for winning OSCAR and hence won such a great awards.
