Academic dishonesty is the first step in corruption

Posted on at

. "To cheat or not to cheat." It is very well said statement given by shakespeare. All people say that not to cheat but infact all people practice on ''To cheat''.Corruption starts from that very first point when the children due to fear of their parents starts cheating in their school life and this is the first academic dishonesty and then the standard of this cheating raises in college life.In college life students use other sorts of shortcuts to reach the top position in class,The main aim of students will be to become no.1. There are certain reasons which are responsible for student's dishonesty in their academic life.Firstly in the present era ,there is much competition and every one wants to cross the other. And in order to cross the other, much people use shorcuts. And that shortcuts are what we called as dishonesty. Secondly some parents exerts huge amount of pressure on their children to get good grades in class. As to relieve from this pressure ,the very first choice which the child adopt is dishonesty and this dishonesty is in the form of cheating. This cheating is of lower level that is copying other paper.Gradually this cheating level increases. As present age is called electronic age. With the development of technology.these unfair sources also get advanced. Now bluetooth devices are used for cheating the examination. The third main reason of dishonesty of children is that if their parents are corrupted then automatically children will also be like the same. And by doing these illegal, corruptive actions, they gradually becomes excellent professionals in their job. Today our country situation, our economy, our trade are all at decline position and these are just due to our own dishonesty.Students are considered the hopes of nation, the protector of country. There is severe need to realize the students that whole country rest on them and they have to prove themselves by moving the trend from academic dishonesty to academic integrity.
