Ella knew the thrill would be gone soon and she worried what would fuel their relationship. They cared for one another deeply but love wasn't yet established. She never liked to ask a lot of questions; especially ones she wasn’t prepared to answer herself. But things were changing; emotions were getting heavy and becoming quite the elephant in the room. She wanted to say something but couldn’t, too terrified the fun would end. She enjoyed him too much to risk it so she held it in and sipped her scotch. The problem with being young she thought, ready for anything but prepared for nothing.
