I have this on my iPad and Mac but haven't had much time to play with it. If you're just getting started in 2D give it a shot. The interface will give you a good feel for 2D animation. And it's dirt simple. About as close as you can get to the pencil and paper experience. There's a version for almost every platform, iOS, Android, Mac and Windows.
I would pay good money for a pro version, though!
