Hi! I'm NellShaoza and I'm back with my new blog entitled, READY TO TAKE A BITE? This would be my first time blogging about a food, specifically my favorite pastry, a pizza! Let's rest first with movie reviews (Read them after. Pitch Perfect, The Bride, Goosebumps and Home) Who doesn't love pizza? You?! What? Are you kiddin?! I believe PIZZA is the HEAVEN here in earth. hehe ~ Those delicious and mouth watering triangle shape food is absolutely breathtaking. Argh. Well, Let's start, Sit back, relax and crave for a pizza! Ciao!
WHAT IS PIZZA?
Pizza is one of the favorite bread made recipe in almost all of the country in the world. It has this complete taste that is so satisfying to eat whenever you crave for breads. Complete package as we say. What it takes in a dough to be a pizza?
a dish of Italian origin consisting of a flat, round base of dough baked with a topping of tomato sauce and cheese, typically with added meat or vegetables.

fresh baked dough, fresh tomato, fresh meat and vegetable. Woah! It's a complete meal ~ Even you, I or anyone can make one.

Origin and History of Pizza
Did you know that Pizza was originate from italy? Well Yeah, I think everyone knows that. in June 11,1889 a pizza called "Pizza Margherita" that was made by Raffaele Esposito, a Neapolitan pizza maker.. He made the Pizza Margherita to honour the Queen consort of Italy, Margherita of Savoy. This Pizza represents the Flag's national color of italy, It was garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basils.
but The precursor of pizza was probably the focaccia, a flat bread known to the Romans as ''panis focaciuso'', which toppings were then added.
Foods similar to pizza have been made since the neolithic age. Records of people adding other ingredients to bread to make it more flavorful can be found throughout ancient history

Well, Let's thank Raffaele Esposito for his first pizza pie. Did you also know that there was a bread called Gallette flat bread or Pizza in Naples way back in 16th century? it was known for 'dish for the poor people' it was not consider as a recipe in a kitchen for a long time and it is sold everywhere in the street. Even I, if I we're living at that century, I would buy and try it cause I love bread and pastries so much ~
Gallette Flat Bread was later placed by oil, tomatoes (after Europeans came into contact with the Americas) or fish
Pizza for poor? Well, I rather call this next selection as a PIZZA for any status, or PIZZA FOR ALL.
CHEAP PIZZA
for you, what is Cheap pizza? Is it the cheap taste or the cheap price? or the satisfaction it gives? Therefore I'll give you MY 3 CHEAP PIZZA LIST (base on the product I've saw here in the Philippines) Tell me if you like one of it ~
1. Dalisay's Pizza, Marcouz' Pizza and Manman's Pizza
Dalisay's Pizza, Marcouz' Pizza and Manman's Pizza are the famous cheap pizza in the Philippines. for the price of 59 php, 69 php and 79 php (Equals to 1.16 dollars, 1.36 dollars and 1.56 dollars) You'll have a Medium size pizza for all the prices.
Ham and Cheese for only 59 php (1.16 dollars)
Hawaiian Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza for only 69 php (1.36 dollars)
Bacon and Mushroom Pizza for only 79 php (1.56 dollars)
Supreme for only 89 php (1.76 dollars)
[ In any of the 3 brands except Supreme ]
The industry of this local pizza's are very active at the early 2016 but quickly fades at the entering of 2017, This was everywhere in our place, those three brands are always competing with each other, In any location there was always a franchise. So Cheap right? Personally I was fond of buying this pizzas, Good for Breakfast and Snack but It all changes when the last pizza on my list, got mine and everyone's attention.

The taste? Honestly, It's okay and plain but the satisfaction of buying a cheap pizza at the price of more than 1 dollar and less than 2 dollars is amazing ~
2. Pizza hut
Yep! The one and only for me, Pizza hut. Unlike the three local brand, Pizza hut got my PIZZA POINT. The Dough, The Bread, The Smell, I love it! The taste even satisfied me more than the other brand, Filipinos love this especially when they open their New Promos that made this a cheap pizza. Student's like me, tend to choose this than the first one, We love goodness and such, and Pizza hut gave us this! Great for our Baon/allowance and we can even share to others.

Best Seller for me? the 159 php (3.14 dollars) 8 Slices of heaven with a cheap price! You can also avail their Personal which is 59 php (1.16 php)
Whenever I walk down the street in Downtown, There will always be people who carries a Pizza hut box, and I'm sure it is the Promo one because Filipinos, tends to take home the cheaper one and dine in the expensive one. right? ~
With the appetizing, tasty and mouthwatering pizza, I'm sure you'll have a great time with this pizza hut too ~
3. S&R Pizza
I don't know if this pizza is cheap for everyone but for me and for my family it is. 18 inches pizza is not and active selling product here in our place, First if they'll made an 18 inches, the price would be more higher than the usual and it is not that easy to prepare, not like other local brands. So S&R Pizza is Cheap because of its affordable 18 inches pizza. With the price of 550 php (10.85 dollars) The 18 inches pizza new york style is yours!

Pepperoni Pizza for only 549 php - (Whole 18 inches)
Combo (Vegetable toppings with meat) for only 549 php (Whole 18 inches)
Cheese for only 499 php (Whole 18 inches)
Garlic Shrimp for only 549 php (Whole 18 inches)
If you want a big slice of that 18 inches, you'll have to pay 100 php (2 dollars) B, I rather buy the 18 inches itself than the one slice which basically I'll need two of that hehe ~
However, S&R will be needing a membership card which cost 700 php (13.81 dollars) and a yearly renewal of card. Well, Not a good idea at first but if you know how to enjoy their pizza, 700 php will not be an issue ~
MIDDLE COST PIZZA
Ready to take a bite? If there's a cheap one, there will always be the Middle cost one. Not Quiet Cheap but not a alternative if you crave and have a tight budget (Its a choice people ~) So let's get started.
1. Shakey's Pizza
In 1975, it first opened in the Philippines where it currently maintains market leadership in both the full service and pizza chain categories.

I might not be fond of this because of the availability of the stores in our place, 8.8 km would be the exact Kilometers to reach one of the store. and it is not accurate for me because I have a tight schedule. So all I can say is that, Shakey's Pizza has this different kind of sensation to our mouth that might delight each and everyone to taste for more. No kidding! but it is. For its price, well you might see what you paid for.

These Pizza's regular are more expensive than the cheaper one. See it?
2. Yellow Cab
Looking for some different taste of pizza? Try Yellow Cab! Honestly, I've never taste a single Yellow's cab pizza but My friends told me that this one, has a different taste. The flavor are alive and the toppings is their asset. Here are some menus that I think you might enjoy.
NY CLASSIC - regular which has 4 serves is 325 php (6.42 dollars) Large which has 6 serves is 530 php (10.46 dollars) and New yorker which has 8 serves is 790 php (15.60 dollars)
Hawaiian - regular which has 4 serves is 325 php (6.42 dollars) Large which has 6 serves is 530 php (10.46 dollars) and New yorker which has 8 serves is 795 php (15.80 dollars)
