Armed Drone tested in Pakistan

Pakistan has successfully tested its first domestic all-weather armed drone 'Burraq' armed with a laser guided missile 'Barq'.

The unmanned aircraft comes equipped with laser-guided missiles and will be deployed against terrorists along the country's northwestern border with Afghanistan.

Pakistan Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has witnessed the test fire of the new missile on static and moving targets, which showed 'impressive pinpoint accuracy'.

The newly developed weapon is expected to give a boost to Pakistani Military's capacity to effectively combat terrorism.
