We're excited to see our good friend Charlie Wan, whose WebTV has a fantastic selection of his video work, speak this evening in DUMBO at the GREAT PEOPLE UNITE - "Work and Wisdom from Professional Artists" event from 7pm - 11pm. Charlie is also a renowned photographer, his beauty work being a favorite of mine. Recently his dance films, including "Lean on Me" have earned him rave reviews for not only his direction, but for his composing of these films as well.
The event was created by Kurt Peolquin whose mission for Great People Unite is "to help highly motivated artists bring their expressions to life, connect with their audience, and earn abundant livings in the process."
