Overall, the US Box Office was down 12% on last weekend's gross.

The box office limped along in lethargic fashion this weekend, with three new films having decent, if unspectacular openings. The Bradley Cooper/Robert De Niro thriller LIMITLESS topped the box office this weekend with $18.9 million. This is a good result for Cooper as this is his first true headlining film, and a thriller to boot instead of his usual comedy fare. The film cost a small $27 million to make, so chalk this one up as a economic winner right out of the gate...
