In two weeks my journey with film school comes to a successful finish. I will be a member of the graduating class of 2014 from Academy of Art University in San Francisco California.
The education I have received is world class! I can not say enough positive things about the instructors I was taught by. They all brought industry experience to the classroom and I never felt I was wasting my time there.
I am a online student and contrary to popular belief online college is just as hard as getting up and leaving your house. For me living in Spokane my choices for a quality film school education were limited. Academy of Art University allowed me to get a college degree from home.
I admit I had a bit of advantage over some students because I was already a screenwriter and had completed some films. I decided to go back to school because I wanted to understand the proper language used in film production. I also thought I deserved to get a degree and I wanted to finish this goal for myself.
