There are two easiest questions that you might have faced in your life when you were asked for, "Where are you from?", "Where were you born" BUT sometimes for some people it seems the most complicated and unclear questions to be answered. During the USSR invasion to Afghanistan from December 1979 to February 1989 many Afghan families Migrated to different places in the world for finding a safe place to live temporary or permanently.

We are eight children in the family. My four siblings and I were born in Iran and the other three in Afghanistan. Thousand of Afghan girls and boys share the same story as mine, but probably for most of us it is a always a big problem and confusion  when people ask us: "Where are you from?", "Where were you born?" our answers are : " I was born in Iran" BUT " I am from Afghanistan" .

Iranians calls us "Afghan" and Afghans see us as "Iranian".  We so called "Afghan-Iranian" belongs no where. It is bothering you when people will not recognize you as one of them.

Thanks to the recent technology which dominates the way we communicate with people. Based my own experiences I decided to broaden my horizon venturing in the Digital World, where I am assigned a Digital citizenship and put my all non belongings in a box to remember. I built a parallel city, province or country where people with any language, race and culture are most welcome to come and interact.. You do not need nay identification card or passport to be in my country or the other way I can go anywhere I want without anyone tagging me as a nationality and asking me for the inquiry.

Social and Digital media gives me the power to come online and share my stories, deliver my messages right to the people I want to establish the relationship locally and globally. Therefor the "geographical boundaries" have no meaning for me and that is my world of communication.

I would love to quote a wonderful poem from my favorite and the best poet ever in the history "Saadi Shirazi "  who said :

تن ادمی شریف است به جان ادمیت

نه همین لباس زیباست نشان ادمیت

اگر ادمی به چشم است و دهان و گوش و بینی

چه میان نقش دیوار و میان ادمیت؟

Which means: the appearance and the cloths do not make you man. The humanity and the thoughts are make you different and remarkable.
