Film Annex Launched WebTV channels for U.S. Navy and Marines

Posted on at

Online film distribution company Film Annex recently launched WebTV channels for the U.S. Navy and Marines.  Film Annex uses WebTV channels to explore international issues and lifestyles. Content creators are able to build revenues and sponsorships by the volume of traffic that their Web TV receives and their BuzzScores. They can also add movies and blog posts to individual channels, which make the channels interactive and personal.

The channels host video news briefs that showcase activities of each military branch and interviews with individual officers and soldiers. On the Navy WebTV page, videos include topics such as training of service members, the opening of the Department of Defense, a feature of hospital corpsmen, surgical teams, and strike fighters. On the Marine WebTV page, videos include a feature of a sergeant taking charge of a ceremony, a training course for leaders, how engineers improve life in Afghanistan, awards, and hobbies from officers and soldiers while they are deployed.
