I was checking my google drive account and found a document which was actually two years old and of which has been named as Google buzz, I am referring to the folder though. So when I had looked into the inside of the folder, I found the posts which I had published with the said google site.

Let me share to you what this site is all about because as of the moment, the site is not anymore available, I mean google had already killed this site out of the web but before it went offline, google gave the users their public posts together with the comments in it.

Google Buzz definition as per Mr. Wikipedia:

Google Buzz was a social networking, microblogging and messaging tool that was developed by Google and integrated into their web-based email program, Gmail.
Users could share links, photos, videos, status messages and comments
organized in "conversations" and visible in the user's inbox.

On October 14, 2011, Google announced that it would be discontinuing
the service and that the existing content would be available in
read-only mode. Buzz was discontinued on December 15, 2011

 

So it is like Facebook actually but the only thing is that it is not as popular as Facebook. We somehow at the office where I was working for used it because it is not blocked within our network. So yes we do have our own social networking site before within the company.

It somehow made me miss these people whom I had considered as family.
