Initiatives of Hoze-karbas High School for sustainable education in Afghanistan

In this week manager meeting held with the teachers about the high school examinations and also the educational manager had a meeting with administrative staff of school about the 2nd up to 6th grades time tables and attendance sheet, and arrangement of the semi-term exams.

The computer students had activities in social media, also they reviewed their past lessons.

 

One of the students said that “I am so happy that I familiarized with social media, I have Internet at home and will be active from there in the social media”. She also add that she is really appreciate and thankful from Film Annex and Women’s Annex whose are supporting and educating Afghan students with new technologies.

The Houz-e-Karbas High School was founded in 1962 in Afghanistan. The all-girls school has approximately 4000 students, 92 teachers, 5 senior teachers, one education manager, and one administrator. Many classes are taught in tents. Film Annex built the first Internet classroom at the Houz-e-Karbas High School in May, 2012.
