Kind Words

Lawrence G.Lavasik says,

“Kind words are a creative force, a power

That concurs in the building up of all that

is good, and energy that showers blessings

upon the world’’

Kind words play a very major role in our society. They always bring us honor, Unkind words can hurt anyone’s heart, And to hurt a person’s heart, to hurt his soul, to make him sad and unhappy, is often worse than breaking his head. Words have a lot of power, and they can be used to help or to hurt, to wound or to cure, to bless or to curse. Unkind words can do a lot of harm and cause a great deal of sorrow. Kind words can do a lot of good and cause a great deal of happiness. They can bring us fame as well.

Kind words are not very expensive. They are very cheap. In fact, it costs us nothing to say a kind word to one who is sad or disappointed or in trouble. A kind word is more welcome than a costly gift. We can often spoil a friend’s happiness for a whole day with a frown, a cross remark, an unjust sneer, a fit of bad temper, or an unkind word. We have no right to make others unhappy just because we feel displeased. How much better, then, is to smile, to speak a cheerful word, to say kind things, and to make others happy.

Kind words show that one’s has a very kind heart. Self-seeking people find it hard to say kind words, because they are only concerned of their own happiness. And care nothing about others. If we want to be benignant, we must try to share the joy and sorrow of others, and forget ourselves. The kinder we are, the more easily, the more naturally, and the more sincerely shall we say kind words. They will bring revolution in our life. Kind words can never die. It is true, they are never forgotton.
