Dear friends. This year the Dakar has been 'stored, and it has been a particularly challenging year for me and below expectations.
The race trucks 'was the most fought with minimum separations and at least 15 teams potential winners.
My Tracker went well, but being still in heavy, it was not so competitive like those of my teammates and a problem at the hydroguide pump made me lose almost 5 hours and the recovery was difficult, I arrived at 4 hours and 46minutes behind the winner.
The mechanics worked very well and De Rooy, for some tactical error, hasn't been able to repeat the success of 2012.
The Iveco proved to be the team to beat and just a little' bad luck has taken a podium that was within our reach. For this reason, within us there is a strong desire of revenge at the next opportunity.
I will never cease to thank all of you who follow me, incited me and sap are always pushing me to get better, and never give up.
