MOUNTAIN FLOWERS  and  WILDFLOWERS  bloom mainly in this culturally sophisticated EDO - ERA  flower garden .

The site also features numerous memorial monuments , such as a HAIKU  by BASHO  an a poem  by  YAMANOUE no OKURA , as well as a statue of FUKUROKUJU , one of the seven gods of fortune associated with the Sumida River .
