My take on the #NasaanAngPangulo

Posted on at

So in the Philippines, we had 44 elite police officers killed fighting terrorists, serving the country. Sadly there was probably a lack in communication so they got overwhelmed. Yesterday, they were given honors but our president, Noynoy Aquino, didn't attend. Instead he chose to attend an inauguration of a factory of a car company.

His excuse in this was that the honors were not part of his original schedule. He ran a televised announcement last Wednesday, saying he was sympathizing with the families. Yet he was not there, all because he can't fit it into his schedule. He is the most powerful person in the Philippines for crying out loud, can he not change his schedule to accommodate something more important.

Because of his failure to be present, the whole Philippines is probably angry at him right now. His schedule is not a good excuse, not everyone is believing in what he's saying. Fortunately, he showed up today in the wake of the soldiers, else the whole Philippines would probably clamor even more.
