NFL Season Preview: AFC South

Posted on at

With the season about to begin in less than a week Football fanatics are giddy with anticipation. The NFC continues to look the tougher conference an the NFC South and West divisions look to be the best divisions in the league, but the Broncos with Manning will still be a contender this year and may even be better than last year. Here is how I see the season playing out.

AFC South: It is no secret that the Colts are easily the best team in the division. Andrew Luck kept on going where Peyton Manning left off. If Luck learns to be more consistent and does not have to dig himself out of so many holes the rest of the league better watch out. The real battle is the rest of the division for second.

The colts should be the only playoff team from the south. The Texans are supremely talented at a lot of positions but weak at Quarterback. Despite not having much of a QB the Texans talent at other positions should propel them to second. By default the Titans should be the third place team. Jacksonville should still be in the basement but the future of rookie QB Blake Bortles looks bright.

Indianapolis Colts 12-4
Houston Texans 9-7
Tennessee Titans 7-9
Jacksonville Jaguars 5-11
