Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has purchased 13 used F-16’s A/B models from Jordanian Air Force. The PAF will upgrade these F16’s into C/D block using midlife update (MLU) kits which have been supplied by USA years later. By converting those A/B models F16’s into C/D model, the life time of the aircraft would be increased up to 20-30 years. The purchase of these F16’s would allow Pakistan to raise another squadron of F16’s.  The PAF F16’s fleet has grown to 79 in numbers.
