In 2011 I visited Manchester’s annual Tattoo Show which is held every year at the Central Convention Complex (formally known as the GMEX). The show is a massive event for tattoo artists and for those who love tattoo art, regularly drawing large crowds of both to what is now a very established date on many peoples calendars. I attended to photographically document the convention and capture the highly skilled tattoo artists doing what they do best - produce stunning works of body art.

As a photographer I love to cover these kinds of events. There is always something or someone interesting to capture and this event was no exception. The Manchester Tattoo Show draws artists from all over the UK and the wider international community.  Each year the artists set up shop for two days and work tirelessly to produce amazing and varied tattoo art that include arm and leg sleeves, chest pieces & back pieces, to name just a few. I plan to visit this great showcase of talent again in 2014 to further document the unmistakeably creative work of Manchester artists and the wider national and international community. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. I hope you enjoy looking at my photographs of The Manchester Tattoo Show.
