One of the most coreagous and brave journalist has been martyred alongside his family in the recent serena hotel attack in Kabul.Sardar ahmad along with his wife and two children lost their lives during the attack.

There were four teen aged attackers who infiltrated the security cordon in the higly secured Serena hotel and fired indiscriminintly to cause massive damage but after the first shots were fired,the security guards in the hotel immediately responded and killed the attacker not before they killed 9 people including sardar ahmad and his family.

No post mortem was carried out to the bodies of Sardar Ahmad and family and there are various reports that they have been shot by the guards at serena hotel.One of his family members saying that the children,s bodies were riddled with more than 20 bullets which further clarify that they were been mistakenly shot by the Afghan guards.How can somebody mistakenly shot at the children,my heart is crying for those innocent children.

We lost a corageous journalist and the children of the future of Afghanistan.The hardest part is his other kid in hospital who is also shot and badly injured.Why are we constantly targeting people like Sardar ahmad and his family when he has done nothing wrong but was doing his job as a journalist,but in Afghanistan when you speak the truth,you are not going to live longer.

Please pray for the deceased and also to the little kid fighting for his life.The accused should be brought to justice infact there should be a full fledge inquiry in to the killings.
