Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar is very impressive former Indian all rounder cricketer and captain. He was so young, just eleven years old when he starts playing cricket. Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar has played cricket for a very long period. In his career, he has made so many great records in the profession of cricket. Cricket fans also called him little master.

Sachin Tendulkar’s Cricket Career

Domestic Cricket career

Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar has started his domestic cricket profession in 1987 when he was so young, about fourteen years old.. He was elected to play for the team Mumbai. It was the 1st class cricket tournament called Rani Trophy. In this tournament he was just selected for a substitute player. After a year he was again selected in Mumbai cricket team against Gujrat. In this match his performance was out class. He remains not out in this match and has scored his first ever century. After this match he has achieved more success and scored more number of centuries in some other local tournaments. Team management was impressed from his massive performance in very small age.

During the next period he once again played very well for the Mumbai cricket team and made highest runs in a series. He has scored unbeatable 100 runs against Delhi in Irani trophy. From the period 1988 to 1989 he was again elected for the tournament against England local team. During the next period he was again selected in Mumbai team for Ranji Trophy Tournament. He performed very well in this tournament and made total 96 runs from just 75 balls which help their team to get victory in the match.

In 1998 against Australia at brabourne stadium, he has scored his first ever double century. Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar is the single Indian player who has scored 100 in his very first domestic tournaments like in Ranji trophy, Irani trophy and Duleep tournament. In the season 2000, he has scored his second double hundred in Ranji Trophy against Tamil Naadu which was the best performance ever in his career.

International Cricket Career

On November 15, 1989,  Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar was just sixteen years old when he has played his opening test match against the rival team Pakistan in Karachi. His performance was very poor first test match and he scored just 15 runs and bowled by the Pakistani bowler Waqar Younis. He didn’t lose hope and keep practicing hard for his good performance. He faces too many bouncers from Pakistani Bowlers but he never feels any fear and keeps playing normally. His average in overall series was just fare as he made total 215 runs in a series. He has played only ODI match against the Pakistani team, but was unsuccessful to make any run.

During the next period, he was again slected in India’s visit of New Zealand series. He performed better in test series than the pervious one as he made total 117 runs with the average of 29.25. He has scored total 88 runs in second test match. His performance in ODI matches was so poor and he scored total 36 runs in 3 ODI matches. He was unsuccessful to make any run in the opening two one day matches.

During the period 1990, he was once again chosen to play a series against the team England at Manchester. In this series, his performance was too good and he successfully builds a century in the next test match and saved his team to lose the match and remains not out. Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar was the second little player who has successfully scored 100 in a test match.

During the next series he was again selected in Indian team throughout their visit to Australia in 1991. His performance in this series was awesome and he scored total 148 runs in third test match, which was played at Sydney. He has scored total 114 runs in the final test match which was played at Perth.

In 1994, once again he was elected in Indian team when they fix a series against the team New Zealand. In this series his performance was satisfactory and he also achieves smashing 82 runs on just 49 balls. After a long period, he successfully scored his very first 100 runs against Australia at Colombo stadium.

Because of his good performance, he was again elected in 1996 world cup series. He successfully scored two centuries in this world cup and remains the top scorer in the series. After the world cup series he was again elected in India’s tour to Dubai for series against Pakistan. In this series Sachin and Indian team’s captain Azhar-ud-Deen both made centuries and record partnership on second wicket. This was the first ODI match of which India made more than 300 runs.

In 1998 Australia visits to India for cricket series. Sachin’s performance in this series was awesome as he made three centuries in the tournament. In 1999 world cup series, he was selected in team India. In this series he also made a century as he scored 140 runs on just 101 balls and remains not out.

First and Last international matches he played

Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar has played his very first test match on November 15, 1989 against the team Pakistan and has played the last test match on November 14, 2013 against the team West Indies. He has played his opening ODI match on December 18, 1989 against the team Pakistan and his last ODI match was also against Pakistan which was played on March 18, 2012. He has played only single Twenty-20 match on December 01, 2006 against the team South Africa. Sachin Ramaish Tendulkar has decided for his retirement from all formats of cricket on October 10, 2013. In November 2013, West Indies series in his home ground was his final test match series. Special event was also organized by some companies to tribute the great cricketer.

 

Personal Life

 

Sachind Tendulkar is a great man in his personal life. When he was 22 years old, he got married with Anjali on May 24, 1995. His wife belongs to a family of Gujrat. Anand Mehta, a great businessman is her father. They have currently two children’s. Elder one is Sara and she was born on October 12, 1997 and younger is Arjun who was born on September 24, 1999. Arjun is also a cricketer and he is a left handed batsman. Now he is getting some experience from under-14 cricket team.
