Peacock is colorful beautiful bird with full of wings. It has long wings. In the wings it has several spots within different colors.

It’s a huge bird. The male is called a peacock, the female is a peahen..
Before rain comes, Peacock knows it early and dancing. The peacock likes the clouds very much. It dances when there is thunder in the sky.

Peacocks has crowns on their heads so they are called the kings of the birds.
The peahen is smaller in size. She does not have crown on its head. So it is not as beautiful as the peacock.

Peacocks are found in fields and gardens. They eat grains. They are the friends of the farmers but sometimes they spoil the grains in farming land.
It’s the enemy of the insects and snakes.

We use the wings of peacock for our decorative things.
Peacock is mostly lives in warm places like Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.

It’s the vehicle of the Lord Muruga. He rides a peacock in the battle.
Then, Peacock is our National bird. So, we are proud of it and save it.
But nowadays, peacocks are on the boundary of disappearance and are killed roughly for its feathers.
So, don’t allow to kill the peacock. It’s our duty to save and prevent the peacock.
