The three match one day series is coming to an end tomorrow with the third match to be held at 24th of June at the Mirpur Sher – E – Bangla National Stadium; the tigers have already taken an unassailable 2 – 0 lead and eyeing a ‘Banglawash’.

Although skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has tactfully avoided the issue, Bangladesh is dreaming of committing yet another white wash in the home soil; head coach Heath Streak has not dismissed the possibilities of a probable white wash termed as ‘Bangla wash’ by the popular commentator Athar Ali Khan.

“It is possible to have a 3 – 0 and there is nothing to be exclaimed about it. This is a confident team who believe that they can win. They have excelled in this series” – Streak said.

However captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is well accomplished in his appreciation for the team’s performance, “I think our boys are playing fearless cricket. They are no more afraid of playing shots or keeping an extra slip in the cordon. This is something significant for our team.”

“Cricket is all about a mind game and we are playing the fine cricket with our head in the right place. Perhaps we didn’t expect to make in that way but I said, we want to play and fight till the last ball and then it would be competitive for any team” – captain fantastic remarked.

Mashrafe acknowledged that consistency was the biggest trouble in the past years; “This team is consistent in its performance and attitude and this is the biggest difference with the previous team; I hope it will continue. The momentum is very important in cricket so hopefully boys will keep it up.”

So it is now time to count the moments whether the tigers can claim yet another clean sweep in the home ground or not.
