Thor: The Dark World Preview

Posted on at

1 year has past since the Avengers and Thor has returned to Asgard with Loki now imprisoned. However an ancient enemy has appeared and seems to arisen that even the asgardians cannot face alone. So with the help of Jane Foster and an uneasy alliance with Loki they must set off to find a way to defeat this evil.

It has been 2 years since Thor has stood by himself in a movie and after being part of a team in the Avengers it will be interesting to see how he handles himself without backup from the team. As a solo guy he has proven he is anyone's match however if even Odin cannot beat these then it shows how much of threat they are and why even though I am sure they won't but they could seem like they could do with the Avengers to help out.

Also after the Avengers having actually a reasonable amount of humor in it I am interested to see whether they keep up with that trend and have quite a few light hearted moments or whether they will, with how the plot seems go for a more serious approach especially as they have a new director rather than going with Kenneth Branagh.

With an already stellar cast whilst also adding Christopher Eccleston shows the quality Marvel are keeping with their films and this is going to be a film I definitely will go and see.
