I don't know what's changed, maybe it's the new year and New Years resolutions with the hope of making more of what I love to do, but I find myself starting to blog again with the drive to produce more self driven projects.

Over the last couple of years I have been fortunate enough to have been in a position where I can do what I love both at work and in my own time. Working as a Motion Designer gives me the chance. To work in a huge variety of projects and put the skills that I have learnt to work, but also be challenged on a daily basis.

Surely, if we're not being challenged in what we do, or making sure we push our ideas to the maximum potential, then the content  that we as filmmakers are producing might be a good watch but aren't necessarily as engaging as they could be. If we pushed boundaries that step further then we can create something that is both rich in substance and content.

I've set myself a challenge to create some form of content every month and whilst this might be an ambitious challenge its one that I want to try, to push mu skills and hone my craft. I'm not saying that I'm going to attempt to create something of a master piece everyone month, as that would be somewhat unrealistic, but there's many things whether they're small or not that would allow me to start to develop new ideas and hopefully that next short.
