Why have we been created?

How often we think what is the purpose and aim of life, Allah says in the Quran that he created mankind and Jinns for the purpose of Ibadah.

“I have not created the Jinn and the men expect that they should serve me” (Zariyat-56)

this ayat tells us that we have been created for Ibadah or worship of Allah, and the purpose of our life is Ibadah.

Ibadah comes from the world Abd which means slave. So, Ibadah means slavery of obedience of Allah alone.

Now, everything in the world is doing Ibadah by obeying Allah. The sun, the sky, the grass, the tress, the tables and chairs, the stars and plants are all doing Ibadah because they obeying Allah, the earth revolves just as Allah told it to.

. The plants move just as Allah told them to do. The eyes see, the ears hear just to do. The eyes see, the ears hear just as Allah told them to do. So, everything in the world is doing Ibadah and is a Muslim unconsciously.

Now even our body is doing Ibadah, it is working, digesting, seeing, and hearing just as Allah told it to. The eyes do not hear, and the mouth does not see. They only the work given to them.
