Why is it important to keep your employees reduce their stress

To have a successful business, and a corporation that would last long, the headquarters of the business need to have several things in mind for their employees. 

The workers need to be healthy in order to perform better. If employees are well, they do not have to take time off work, which is good for the company. If the workforce of the company is not well, they they will take days off and the work will not be done on time or at least sooner than the due date. 

Also, the employers need to provide fun activities for their workers. Employees should not be forgotten that they could go into depression. If an employee goes to depression, then it will be difficult and more expensive for the corporation to help its member come back to normal. Now, if in case the worker goes in depression,  the company should have resources to help the employee come out of the dark situation. 

If employees are not pleased with their company that they work for, they will leave their job as soon as they get a different opportunity. This will cause the company harm in long and short term because they corporation will have to train someone new and it will take time and money to get the new person to the level of the experienced one. 

The companies also should include their employees in decision making. This will suggest employees that they are important to the company, so that they will take ownership of the corporation and work with heart. 

Here are a couple examples of a two different companies:

Question: How do you help your employees reduce their stress level, keep them happy, keep them motivated so that they are productive?

Lowes engages its employees to different activities, and hears their voices. Lowes also do different activities in different stores. They have Cook offs. For stress, Lowes has resources through the company. For example, “My Lowes’s life, and my life track” are two resources that help employees choose the right nutrition or anything else that they might need.  

 

Ace hardware holds employee appreciation events (monthly) and usually  have meals, (lunch or breakfast). Also, they have weekly staff meeting where they tell everybody how a good job they are doing. The company is willing to help an employee with stress level if they request help.

As you can see, these are two successful companies. This is a huge part of their success.
