Women are totally addicted to shopping is the oldest stereotype and the accurate one also. Women are totally obsessed with shopping no matter what kind of problem they have, they’ll always have one solution to their entire problem is to go for shopping. Even according to a survey done at United States shopping is the very common stress buster in women. Shopaholic is a psychological problem in which one is totally obsessed with shopping that they can do anything for shopping and the most common thing about women is that the majority of them are shopaholic.

                         There is a Hollywood movie named “Confession of a Shopaholic” in which women and their addiction with shopping is shown. Well shopping is something which gives extreme joy and relaxation to everyone but this is pretty much common in women.  In that movie Hollywood star Isla Fisher has played the role of a woman who was very much obsessed with shopping and how her whole life changed because of her addiction.

           Well mostly women are very fond of shopping no matter they are working or a house wife shopping is always been a buster mainly for women. According to psychologists the extreme joy we get from shopping reduces the number of stress hormones which keeps our mind and body light. So shopping does have some good effects on health also but if it’s done in limit otherwise this can be very tormenting on our budget.

          Well there is another psychological reason behind women and their love with shopping is that shopping is something which makes women feel superior and being in charge. That is why companies target women whenever they are advertising because they know women can be easily convinced. So never wonder if women are obsessed with shopping it’s just one of her shade.
