YUM CHICKEN LASAGNA

Lasagna

Ingredients:

Step 1: Lasagna Sauce

Oil ½ Cup
Onions (Chopped) ¼ Cup
Garlic (Chopped) 2 Tsp
Tomato Paste 1 Small Tin
Chicken Mince ½ Kg
Black Pepper 1 Tsp
Salt ¼ Tsp
Oregano Leaves 1 Tbsp
Paprika Powder ½ Tsp

Step 2: Tomato Fresh Query

Oil 1 Cup
Onions (Fine Chopped) ½ Cup
Garlic (Fine Chopped) 3 Tbsp
Tomato Paste 1 Small Tin
White Vinegar ¼ Cup
Sugar 2 Tbsp
Red Crushed Chilies 2 Tbsp
Black Pepper 1 Tsp
Salt 1 Tsp
Oregano Leaves 2 Tbsp
Tomato Ketchup ½ Cup

Step 3:

Lasagna Sheets (Boiled)
Step 4: White Sauce
Butter & Oil ½ Cup
Flour ½ Cup
Milk 1 Ltr
Chicken Powder 1 Tbsp
White Pepper ¼ Tsp
Oregano Leaves 1 Tsp
Salt To Taste

Step 5:

Cheddar Cheese 200 Gms
Mozzarella Cheese 200 Gms
Step 6: Garnishing
Capsicums (Julian Cutting) 
Tomatoes (Julian Cutting)
Onions (Optional)

Instructions:

First Boil the Lasagna Sheets by adding some oil just for the purpose not to stick together. After boiling the lasagna sheets stain it properly.

Chicken Mince

To Prepare the Mince: Heat oil in a sauce pan, add garlic and stir for a minute then add the onions. Cook the onions till transparent. Add the mince and cook for a further 5 minutes. Season with tomato query, oregano leaves, black pepper and paprika powder. The chicken will leave its juices, continue cooking and taste it to make sure whether you require any further seasoning.

Tomato Fresh Query

To prepare the tomato sauce: Boil the tomatoes for the purpose of removing tomatoes skin. After removing the skin of boiled tomatoes grind in a blender machine. Heat some oil in a sauce pan add the garlic sauté for a minute then add the onions. Cook the onions still light brown. Then add the tomato paste, fresh puree tomato sauce, white vinegar, black pepper, red crushed chilies and tomato ketchup. Cook till it starts simmering. Taste to see if any further seasoning is required.

White Sauce

To prepare the white sauce : Take a sauce pan and on a low medium flame heat the oil and butter till it begins to melt and then add the flour while stirring cook for approx. 3 to 4 minutes. This whole process is called roux. Now turn down the heat and gradually add the boiled milk while beating with a whisk to avoid any lumps from forming. Cook till it’s a thick consistency and then add the seasoning like chicken powder, white pepper, oregano leaves and salt.

Baking Tray

Now prepare the ovenproof dish put a white sauce then lasagna sheets. Layer this with the chicken mince mixed in a tomato sauce. Add some capsicums and some shredded cheese. On this place another layer of lasagna and repeat the same process 3 times. Sprinkle some cheese on the top and place in a preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. Let the cheese turn slightly golden brown on top.

Serve Hot.
