DESCRIPTION

IDEAS (International Defence Exhibition and Seminar) held after every 2 years in Expo Center Karachi, in which several dignitaries and officials from foreign countries participates and exhibit their defence products.
This year IDEAS 2016 was held between 22-25 November, inaugurated by Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr.Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on its very first day. The first two days were only for VIP's and last two days were for public. 19 countries were participating in this which included Russia, Turkey and China.
So I went at IDEAS 2016 on its last day. The security was tight and fool proof. As I got the entry pass to go inside Expo Center, I've discovered a battle tank "Al-Khalid" was standing to exhibit for the coming spectators. Not only this there were a large number of Tanks, Air Plane models, Shotguns, Sniper rifles, Bullet Proof vehicles and a lot more as shown in the video. Atlast, I must say, it's very useful for me as I got the chance to know more about our defence abilities and I found it very informative. In the end, A day spent well and memorable at IDEAS 2016.
