DESCRIPTION

Amory is a kid at heart with a very serious head for business. Her experience in all aspects of children’s entertainment –from adaptation of cherished children’s literary properties for media and merchandise to licensing, branding and launching of digital products – makes her the perfect Cupcake business development and licensing head…with a cherry on top.

As EVP, Creative Services for Chorion (a UK-based entertainment producer and IP owner/manager), Amory facilitated the integration of Silver Lining Productions post-sale to Chorion, creating a global media company with offices in New York, London and Sydney. There, she led teams in London and New York to drive revenue and open up new territories and market segments through innovative brand and creative strategies.

Previously, as Co-Founder and CEO at Silver Lining Productions, Amory built a boutique media company that secured and adapted children’s literary classics for television and merchandising including: Olivia by Ian Falconer, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, and Max & Ruby by Rosemary Wells.

Earlier in her career, Amory honed her marketing skills at Cyrk/Simon Marketing Inc., where she developed and launched the first-ever M&M’s licensed products collection.

Amory’s more distant past:
Amory was a principal at Simple Entertainment, a licensing consultancy, VP, Licensing at Determined Productions, and Marketing Director of the World Wildlife Fund. She earned her B.A. in International Studies and Economics at American University.
