Humans have made huge leaps forward in science, medicine and technology. Much of our knowledge is thanks to animals and our study of them. Steve and Ben discuss some of these contributions through four examples, including how an alligator's smile holds clues to new teeth, scavenger cells helping limbs to regrow, why penguins lost their wings and how the oldest ape sheds light on human evolution.
