They are stepping into the roles that Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell made famous for the 1987 film “Overboard.” 31 years later, we have a new version with a gender-switching twist! I had a great time talking to Faris and Derbez about their interest in making the movie, why it’s an homage, and what they would say to Hawn and Russell.
