I spoke with Ali via satellite to talk about “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1,” and he was a hoot! The actor revealed his motivation for joining the cast, finding the heart of his character, working with Jennifer Lawrence, the rich political undertones of the film, and most importantly, we both did the three-finger salute!
