Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal wrote a searing but totally entertaining film about racial tension in “Blindspotting.” Directed by Carlos Lopez Estrada, Diggs and Casal also star as longtime friends, one black, one white, living and surviving in Oakland as gentrification moves in. I sat down with the actors/screenwriters to talk about the genesis of the film, and what blindspotting really means.
