So director Tom Hooper, the Academy Award-winning filmmaker of “The King’s Speech,” decided to work on the big screen version of “Les Miserables” and made a very important call – his cast will not lip synch to the music, they will sing it live, and with feeling and passion depending on their characters. The sung-through technique is brilliant and gives the film much more weight! So, I was happy as a clam to interview Mr. Hooper, one-on-one. In this interview, we talked about:
