DESCRIPTION

Urban Myth: Vanessa bumps into a little girl who claims shes lost. Having the words of her good friend in mind about a new rape tactic little girl as bait to bring young women to a certain house with wired bell. Young woman gets electrocuted, faints and wakes up the next morning with 20 used condoms around her she cautiously watches every of her steps while giving the girl a lift home.

The Berlinale Talent Campus #6:
Out of thousands of applicants Juliane was chosen as participant for the six-day creative summit for up-and-coming Filmmakers (9th – 14th Feb. 08).

Her project “It could happen to you”, based on a spam email which circulated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was selected for production during the Hands-on Training Garage Studio.

Preproduction was done online. For shooting and post the crew had 24 hours. “It could happen to you” was the second short film to come out of the Garage Studio, shot on Monday, the 11th February. Shooting start 8am, delivery of the final film on Tuesday morning 8am. With crew members and Campus participants Rachel Rath, Leonard Lehmann, William Whitwham, and Juan Miguel Salas Rodriguez.

Juliane created a director’s cut of “It could happen to you” in September 2008.
