La nebbia è una specie di desiderio impossibile che genera un luogo altro. Nicole Vögele ed Elsa Kremser realizzano un film potente, immerso in un’atmosfera sospesa e con immagini splendide. In quel denso ma intangibile agglomerato di aria e acqua si aggirano esistenze diverse e solitarie: un astronomo, un musicista, un capitano di mare. Da una parte la natura che ha occhi per vedere ciò che è invisibile e dall’altra l’uomo che, nella nebbia come nei sogni, si ritrova solo e inerme.

Fog is a sort of impossible desire that generates an ‘other’ place. Nicole Vögele and Elsa Kremser made a powerful film bathed in a suspended atmosphere, rich in wonderful images. Within the dense, but intangible conglomeration of air and water wander several solitary existences: an astronomer, a musician, a sea captain. On one hand is nature. Its eyes can see what is invisible. On the other hand is man. In the fog as in dreams, he finds himself alone and helpless
