DESCRIPTION

This is a L8 bout of the men's Grade A world cup in New York, USA in 2011. Gu Bon Gil of South Korea is on the right and Rares Dumitrescu of Romania is on the left. These two have fenced in direct elimination bouts three times before: in the final of the Coupe Gerevich-Kovacs-Karpati in Budapest, Hungary in 2010 (15-13 Dumitrescu), in the L8 of the Coupe du Monde in Tunis, Tunisia 2011 (15-14 Gu) and in the semifinals of the Gerevich-Kovacs-Karpati Grand Prix for the Mol Cup in Budapest, Hungary in 2011 (15-12).
