DESCRIPTION

Soumitra Dutta is an author, academic, businessman, and, as of July 1, 2012, Dean of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He explained that Women are the important part of the society and that it is a necessary condition for the school to have a strong focus on them in its programs by having female students, female faculty role models and being connected to professional women associations. He believes that the successful role model for women in Afghanistan should be found in their own community so they can be inspired by what they do. The inspiration behind the Technology campus in Roosevelt Island comes from Mayor Blomberg's vision that the city's economy needs to be more diversified. He wants to create more jobs and attract new professionals. What they are doing at the CornellTech is bringing the Engineering and Business schools together, because they need two schools to collaborate together to create the companies we need in this information age.
