Mammoth Mountain in California is one of the premier ski vacation resorts in the Western United States. It boasts miles of pristine skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and in the summer, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and other fun activities for the family. There is even a real ghost town near by. The Mammoth ski season is known to sometimes last to July.
