Who knew one of New York’s most historic bars was in Brooklyn? The stained glass windows, circa 1890, advertise Peter Doelger’s Extra Beer which is sadly long gone. Lucky for us, though, Teddy’s is very much still with us. It is one of the best looking bars we’ve seen anywhere. As its most famous former resident (Mae West) once said, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough”.
