DESCRIPTION

Xcorps Bandit X Project - CARB FROM SMI pt.2 - Xcorps Action Sports TV continues the BANDIT X Resto Mod of a 1979 Trans AM with the installation of a new carburetor from SMI.
Sean Murphy hooked us up and he has been around for a while and knows his stuff when it comes to carburetors.
Sean has been supplying carburetors to teams in highest levels of NASCAR, NHRA, IHRA, IMCA, IMSA, and was a major sponsor of national muscle car association (NMCA).
SMI (Sean Murphy Induction, inc.) opened in January of 2002 with a mission to provide products of the highest quality; supported through a focused dedication to customer service.
Xcorps host Scott Sommers talks about the new Quadrajet from SMI and goes through the installation steps in this 3 part video series.

The BANDIT X Project -
Xcorps TV found a great restorations shop in Santee California to base the Bandit X restoration project. So Cal Paint Works has stepped up to take on the project and we couldn’t be more thrilled. The X production crew went down for customer appreciation day at So Cal Paint and saw some of the cars that they had done and we were hooked. They stripped the cars completely down to bare metal and started from scratch. If your looking for a shop to restore your car or do the paint work we highly recommend So Cal Paint Works.
Gregg Scott, engine builder, will be doing the 455 for the Phoenix Project.
He has a long history in drag racing and builds engines for some of the top racers at Barona Drag Strip. He builds high horsepower engines that are street driver friendly.
Our friend Dave over at Pro Touring F-body is supplying us with the suspension parts that we need for our Phoenix project aka Bandit X. We are up grading to solid sub frame bushings, tubular upper and lower control arms, sub frame connectors, new coil springs, rear leaf springs along with his adjustable shocks. All this is going to make the car handle way better than it ever did. Team Xcorps will be out tearing up the auto cross like it was a Sunday drive in the country.
We would like to thank Pilo Chevy Parts for supplying us with all the weather stripping and rubber bumpers for our car.
Paul carries a full line of restoration parts for your classic GM vehicle. He can get everything from interior stuff to decals.
