Hazy Eyes: Behind The Scenes

Posted on at

Another opportunity I've got myself this Semester at Uni was filming the Behind The Scenes for Kelly Jayne Gill's latest film, Hazy Eyes.

This was again another great experience for me as it got me thinking on my feet and being more creative rather than just fulfilling the role of a runner. She asked me to think about how it would be put together and to treat it as one of my own films.

There were some issues that popped up on set such as grainy imagery due to lack of light in some scenes especially for my camera. And then there was a case of being super quiet and not interrupting the shoot, it was important for me to be like a ninja but still capture everything Kelly needed.

I really enjoyed interviewing every single cast and crew member for the shoot and one of my main worries was that I wouldn't get everyone. I got some great interviews which I think will work well over the top of some clips acting as perhaps maybe even a voice over.

I'm really happy with the quality of shots as there is a fantastic variety for the Director to choose from in putting it all together in the edit.
