Wendy Sachs's career has taken her from the corridors of Capitol Hill to an Alabama maximum security prison to the wilderness of a Utah survival school.

She's worn hidden cameras and chased tornadoes. She's represented politicians and Hollywood personalities and even Barney the purple dinosaur. She has interviewed some of the smartest and most inspiring women in the country, and then had two children who ultimately inspired a book about it all.

Wendy is an Emmy award-winning network television producer having worked at "Dateline NBC," CNN and FOX. Before going into television, Wendy worked on Capital Hill as a press secretary for two members of Congress. A well known author and blogger, Wendy wrote the critically acclaimed book on balancing career and family, “How She Really Does It: Secrets of Successful Stay-at-Work Moms."

Wendy is a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post and CNN.com and has written for several magazines including a cover story for "USA Weekend Magazine."

Wendy is an expert on social issues, motherhood and work life balance, and has appeared on dozens of TV and radio shows around the country including: NBC’s “Today” show, “Good Morning America,” FOX’s “Good Day New York,” CBS’s “Up to the Minute,” Oprah's Sirius Radio, among others. She regularly appears on New York City's WPIX TV.

Recently, Wendy worked as the editor in chief of Care.com acting as the company's national spokesperson and launching and creating all aspects of its content platform.

A media strategist, Wendy also worked as a vice president at DKC, an eclectic public relations agency in New York City where she represented high profile media and entertainment companies and individuals.

Wendy will be shooting a documentary this summer on sleepaway camp.
