13 killed, 100 injured as train meets accident in SW Pakistan

At least 13 people were killed and over 100 others injured when four compartments of a passenger train derailed near Pakistan's southwest Mach district on Tuesday afternoon, local media reported.
   Geo TV said that the passenger train Jaffer Express was on its way to Rawalpindi city when it met accident near Aab-e-Gum area of Mach, a main district in the country's southwest Balochistan province.
   The injured and the bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Mach where several of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.
   Officials with paramilitary troops said that further investigation is being made to check the possibility of any act of terrorism.
