5 DEPRESSING SONGS TO INCLUDE IN YOUR PLAYLIST

Posted on at

I have always been fascinated with sad quiet songs which I usually listen to when I can't sleep due to coffee outbreak. I hope you appreciate this list and include them in your playlist.

5. Dreaming With a Broken Heart by John Mayer

"When you're dreaming with a broken heart. The waking up is the hardest part."

This song is literally for the broken. While I'm listening to it, I feel like I am broken too. I usually sing also whenever this plays.

4. Not About Angels by Birdy

The thing about this song is its melody (I honestly don't understand some words of it). Birdy is just a classic when it comes to these kinds. Her unique voice and piano accommpaniment is just so ohh. It makes you listen to her again and again.

3. Wasn't Expecting That by Jamie Lawson (Cover)

I just hope you find the cover on youtube that's better than the original one because of its simplicity.

The thing about this song is it tells a story. Really. Sad thing tho is the ending. It just hurts my heart at the end when I'm listening to it.

"Then the nurses they came, said its come back again. I wasn't expecting that.

Then you closed your eyes, took my heart by surprise. I wasn't expecting that."

2. What Love Is This by Kari Jobe

Actually, this is not depressing because it is a worship song. But you will love to listen to this when you're alone and probably sing along.

1. Jealous by Labrinth

This is a recent song and, yeah, it makes me cry sometimes when I listen to this. (I'm a guy, btw) Its chorus just hurts. I recommend this to include in your playlist.

This song was sung by one of the contestants in Xfactor UK and even Simon Cuwell have cried because of its message.

If ever you have some songs that you recommend, feel free to leave a comment and i'll probably download them cause I love these kind of songs.
